TWO former Australian cricketers have put some of Bendigo’s budding young cricketers to the test.
As part of the McDonald’s Summer Cricket Camp, Terry Alderman and Graham Yallop teamed up to put on a two-day clinic.
Alderman first played cricket for Australia in 1974, while Yallop captained the team during the World Series Cricket.
The annual cricket camp attracted aspiring cricketers from across Bendigo.
The camp, which ran on Thursday and Friday, was run by Shaun Brown’s Cricket Coaching.
Shaun Brown has been running camps across Victoria and New South Wales for the past 25 years.
Bendigo youngsters were put through their paces at Ewing Park.
Each participant took part in different activities throughout the clinic, including bowling, batting and fielding.
Alderman and Yallop also offered tips on how the Bendigo cricketers could improve their game.
