The city's aim in calling for community input into the masterplan is creating the best place possible now and into the future.
Concept A supports passive parkland with limited vehicle access and the retention and creative re-use of historic buildings.
Concept B opts for a mix of passive and active parkland with more flexible access and parking and the retention of all buildings for a useful purpose.
Both concepts will have support, motivated by a love of the respective themes of the ideas - nature and sport.
What's important is that the community doesn't miss the opportunity to have input into this masterplan.
Rosalind Park remains one of our great assets.
The park generates plenty of passion in people and many will have strong opinions on the best use for the space.
Whatever decision is made on the future of the park must be in the best interests of the entire community.
Whatever decision is made on the future of the park must be in the best interests of the entire community.
Such an outcome can only be achieved with good debate and a willingness to listen to everyone's ideas from all involved in the process.
