A spokeswoman from the Royal Melbourne Hospital confirmed on Wednesday the man was in a stable condition.
The man, in his 60s, fell of his bicycle on January 6.
Witnesses believed a medical complication might have caused the incident.
A passerby administered CPR to the man while they waited for help.
The man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
