A MAN who smashed his car into a pole in Kangaroo Flat on Saturday night appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Mark Peter Llewellyn, a 33-year-old from Muckleford, is in police custody and appeared in court via video link.
The court heard Llewellyn was released on bail on January 10. Police allege on January 18 - eight days after his bail was granted - Llewellyn intentionally caused injury during a dispute with a friend.
Llewellyn was allegedly armed with a screwdriver and, later, took off in a vehicle south towards Kangaroo Flat where he collided with traffic lights.
Llewellyn has been remanded to appear in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on February 17.
