Tradition just keeps rolling on

HUNDREDS of cricketers are continually drawn to Bendigo in late January each year.

Since it hit off in the mid 1930s, Bendigo Country Cricket Week has become one of the most popular carnivals across central and northern Victoria.

Generation after generation has headed to Bendigo from many pockets of the state to bat, bowl and field.

Northern United and Upper Loddon are two of the longest-time players in Bendigo Country Cricket Week history and are among many teams striving for glory.
