The league is urging dart players and people who have never played the game before to try their might and have a go.
Castlemaine Amateur Darts Association contest director Gareth Hughes said players of all abilities were welcome to join the competition.

The league, which began in 1979, attracts players from across central Victoria.
Each team comprises of a minimum of four players.
With each game consisting of two doubles matches and four singles matches, reverse singles matches and a team’s game.
Hughes said darts had continued to grow in popularity, thanks to live telecasts of championship tournaments.
He hoped the growing stature of the game would inspire central Victorians to take up the sport.
“There has been a few Australians doing quite well in big tournaments,” Hughes said.
“There is a crazy number of people going to watch darts.”
Hughes said the league was hosting a registration night next Wednesday at the Cumberland Hotel in Castlemaine at 7pm.
He said if anyone wanted to register or wanted more information to call him on 0418 382 073.
