TWENTY20 matches will be played by Bendigo District Cricket Association teams on Tuesday night.
The day's forecast temperature of 43 degrees has led to start times being pushed back 30-minutes to 5.45pm.
One of the matches, Kangaroo Flat against Bendigo United had already been scheduled for a 7pm start under the Dower Park lights.
BDCA president Wayne Walsh said the matches could not be moved to another night.
"Umpires and teams may decide on a drinks break after just 10 overs in each innings."
Unbeaten in Twenty20, Huntly North Epsom and Strathdale-Maristians clash on Power's turf at Poyser Motors Oval.
Sandhurst faces Eaglehawk at J.L. King Weeroona Oval.
Winless in T20, Bendigo and White Hills play at Bendigo District RSL Oval in North Bendigo.
Results will have a bearing on pool standings.
Semi-finals are on this Sunday at the Queen Elizabeth Oval.
The grand final is on Wednesday, January 22 at the QEO from 7pm and will be part of the Bendigo Bank Country Cricket Week carnival. .
