More netball matches played under lights

MORE netball will be played under lights in this season's Bendigo Football Netball League action.

Upgraded facilities at Flight Centre Park, home of the Strathfieldsaye Storm, will mean more contests under lights.

Dual courts at Queen Elizabeth Oval and Strathfieldsaye mean later starts to netball at those venues.

Some netball matches will also be played under lights at Beck Legal Oval in Kangaroo Flat and at Maryborough's Princes Park.

The Bendigo Football Netball League season starts on Saturday, April 5.

The rematch of last September's senior grand finalists, Strathfieldsaye and Golden Square will be played on Storm's turf.

Gisborne plays Castlemaine at Gardiner Reserve, QEO co-tenants South Bendigo and Sandhurst clash, and Kangaroo Flat faces Maryborough.

Kyneton marks its return to the senior football competition when it tackles Eaglehawk in the Tigers lair.
