Leg-spinner Taylor was Victoria's standout with the ball, picking up 5-124 off 33 overs. Team-mate Linton Jacobs took two catches.
On Saturday, Taylor made 24 batting at No.6.
Jacobs scored four, while the third Strathdale player in the team, opening batsman Travis King, was dismissed for a duck.
