The one-day clash pits the BDCA's two top sides against each other.
Golden Square enters the second phase of the season undefeated with a perfect 8-0 record, two games clear of the Suns and third-placed White Hills (both 6-2).
The Suns are missing the star trio of captain Linton Jacobs, Travis King and Cameron Taylor, who are representing Victoria at the Australian Country Cricket Championships in Canberra.
In the absence of Jacobs, the Suns will be captained by Ben DeAraugo.
Grant Connelly will captain Golden Square with Tim Wood unavailable.
• White Hills welcomes back gun batsman Gavin Bowles from overseas for its game against Kangaroo Flat at KWD Oval.
While Bowles is back with the Demons for the first time since round eight, last season, two of White Hills' imports, Jake Foley and Jack Hebron, have left the club.
• Sandhurst's Nick Scullie returns from his hand injury for the Dragons' battle with Huntly-North Epsom at J.L. King Weeroona Oval.
Scullie hasn't played since round three.
• Bendigo takes on Bendigo United at Bendigo District RSL Oval, with the Goers adding some experience to their side in former skipper Marcus McKern returning.
• And Strathfieldsaye is at home to Eaglehawk.
The Hawks haven't called up Richard Tibbett, with the paceman again playing in the third XI as a batsman.
