A MAN in his 40s or 50s abandoned his burglary attempt on Thursday after he was disturbed by the female occupant of a Kennington house.

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit Detective Senior Constable Michael Thompson said the 183-centimetre-tall offender, wearing a fluro jacket entered the Condon Street property about 10am.
"He was disturbed by the occupant and has left," he said.
Meanwhile, two motorbikes were found in bushland at Kangaroo Flat near Collins Street on Thursday afternoon.
Detective Senior Constable Thompson said the bikes were non-brand name trail bikes.
"We have not been able to locate the owners of the bikes," he said.
"Anyone with information about the burglary or details of the motorbikes should contact me on 5448 1385."
