Senior Constable Andrew Hazelwood said two people had suffered minor injuries in the assault which took place this afternoon at a residence in Fitzpatrick Court.
“We received the call at 4.15pm,” he said.
“Two people were arrested at the scene.
“There were minor injuries sustained by the people at the house.
“A female went to hospital as a precaution but has been discharged with minor injuries.
“At this stage we are still trying to ascertain what happened.
“We still need to speak to a male and a female at the scene. No one has been charged yet.”
