More than competitors ranging in age from early 40s to mid 70s lined up for the 10km walk.
The trek was along Pall Mall, through Rosalind Park and then back along Pall Mall in the heart of Bendigo.
Many records tumbled in an exciting finish to the multi-event duels at the La Trobe University Bendigo Athletics complex in Retreat Road, Flora Hill.
