HURDLES have been cleared, high leaps achieved, fast times set and more in Saturday's start to the Oceania Masters track and field championships in Bendigo.
Day one of the nine-day Games features the decathlon and heptathlon action at the La Trobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Retreat Road, Flora Hill.
The championships have drawn competitors from 10 countries eyeing for gold and personal bests from the 30-34 age group up to 85-89 years.
The opening weekend features the Athletics Bendigo multi-event titles.
Track and field action rolls on from 10am on Sunday when the decathlon and heptathlon titles will be decided at LUBAC.
Day two features the 10km walks in around Rosalind Park near the heart of the city. The walks begin at 8am.
