Fliedner will saddle up the talented Primitive Man in the Flemington 1840-2014 Handicap (1000m), while I'm An Outoftowner will represent Symons in the opening event the New Year Handicap (1200m).

 I'm An Outoftowner is coming off a first-up third placing  at Bendigo behind Paddy's Gem and Black Caviar's half-sister Belle Couture.

 I'm An Outoftowner, who has been placed in four of her eight career starts, gets another crack at Paddy's Gem in Wednesday's race.

Primitive Man is first-up from a 29 week spell.

Meanwhile, Sororoity Queen continued her consistent form for Symons at Echuca on Tuesday.

The five-year-old mare scored a convincing win in a 0-58 1000m event.

The five-year-old has now won two of her eight career starts and hasn't finished further back than fourth in all her starts.
