The four-round series starts on Thursday at Geelong's Eastern Beach.
Italy's triple world champion Giorgia Bronzini will join forces with Germany's Charlotte Becker and reigning Swedish road race and New Zealand time trial national champions Emilia Fahlin and Linda Villumsen in the Wiggle Honda colours.
Bendigo's Peta Mullens will play a key role for the team in the street duels at Geelong, Portarlington and Williamstown.
The strong international Wiggle Honda outfit joins Australian professional outfit and defending champions Orica-AIS in an all-star women’s race.
Team owner and three time series winner Rochelle Gilmore said the Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic was an important race for women on the Australian circuit.
“Wiggle has financially supported our athletes to be in Australia ahead of the Bay Crits with one clear ambition, to win the Bay Cycling Classic in January," Gilmore said.
“We're by no means confident that we can achieve that however, we are preparing the best we can.
“Every athlete and team on the start line wants to win the first event of the year so we expect the competition to be quite fierce."
First event on Thursday at Ritchie Boulevard on Geelong's Eastern Beach is at 3pm.
The women's elite race starts at 5pm.
The first of the support events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday starts at 11.30am.
