UPDATE 8.45AM: A CFA spokesperson says crews are on scene this morning mopping up after the fire in Wilkinsons Road, Sedgwick.
The fire is under control and no longer poses a threat.
According to the Powercor website, 41 customers are currently without power. The outage in Harcourt Road, Sedgwick, is being investigated.

UPDATE: 9.36PM: THE CFA advice and warnings website says the fire in Wilkinsons Road Sedgwick no longer poses a threat.
There are still road closures in the area including North Harcourt Road north of McIvor Road and south of Sutton Grange Road.
Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
UPDATE: 9.26PM: A CFA media spokeswoman said the Wilkinsons Road Sedgwick fire has burnt 200 hectares of grassland.
She said there had been no reports of houses damaged at this stage.
The spokeswoman said the fire had been downgraded to a watch and act but firies were yet to control the blaze.
About 57 units are still on scene.
UPDATE: 8.46PM: Road closures for the McIvor Road between North Harcourt Road and Springs Road, and Axe Creek Road between Sutton Grange Road and Myrtle Creek Road.
UPDATE: 8.23PM: THE CFA have downgraded the warning to a watch and act for Emu Creek, Sedgwick, Sutton Grange, Axe Creek, Harcourt North.
UPDATE: 8.16PM: RESIDENTS in Tarrleah Drive Sedgwick are without power.
An emergency warning is still in place for Emu Creek, Harcourt North, Sedgwick, Axe Creek.
UPDATE: 8.10PM: THE Bendigo area experienced a strong wind change about 5pm today, says the Bureau of Meteorology.
Duty forecaster Dean Stewart said the wind changed from a northerly to a strong south-westerly with temperatures dropping to 23 degrees.
He said no rainfall was expected for Bendigo this evening and winds would ease overnight.
Bendigo recorded a top temperature of 38.4 degrees just before 5pm today.
A top of 26 degrees is expected for tomorrow.
UPDATE: 7.50PM: A TARRLEAH Road resident said she could see smoke from her Sedgwick home but it was dying down.
The woman, whose house is not under threat, said a helicopter had been dropping water on the blaze.
UPDATE: 7.38PM: THE CFA is reporting the fire at Sedgwick has burnt about 250 hectares.
It continues to burn out-of-control.
UPDATE: 7.30PM: THE fire has jumped Wilkinsons Road near North Harcourt Road.
Properties are currently under threat.
UPDATE: 7.22PM: A HELICOPTER has been sent to try and control a fire at Sedgwick.
The CFA advice and warnings website says the blaze is still out-of-control.
People are being warned to take shelter indoors.
Police have blocked Sutton Grange Road.
UPDATE: 7PM: THE CFA are strongly encouraging residents of Emu Creek, Harcourt North, Axe Creek and Sedgwick to stay indoors.
Eight fire trucks are at the scene of out-of-control fire while another 14 are on the way.

THE Country Fire Authority has issued an emergency warning for Emu Creek, Harcourt North, Sedgwick, Axe Creek.
About six fire trucks are attending to a fast-moving grass fire which is travelling in a north-easterly direction from North Harcourt Road in Sedgwick.
This grass fire is currently not yet under control.
