BENDIGO police are appealing for the person who found a large quantity of money in the Woolworths car park to come forward.

A person found money in the Golden Square Woolworths car park on Saturday.
Sergeant Greg Gentry said the person who found the money handed it in to Woolworths staff.
"We are appealing for the finder to come forward and we are also appealing for the person who lost the money to come forward," he said.
Sergeant Gentry said he couldn't disclose how much money was found or what it was contained in.
He said if anyone has any information about the incident to call Bendigo police on 5448 1300.
In Maryborough a 1990s model falcon station wagon was stolen from a residential property.
The vehicle was stolen from a Carisbrook home between the hours of 11pm and 6am.
Acting Sergeant Cam McRae urged any witnesses to come forward.
He said people could contact the Maryborough police station on 5460 3300 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Acting Sergeant McRae said a routine police check on Sunday morning also led to a police pursuit throughout Maryborough.
He said police carried out a routine intercept when the driver sped off.
Acting Sergeant McRae said the pursuit began in the Maryborough central business district and then onto the Maryborough Dunolly Road.
"Police then ended the pursuit," he said.
"We are investigating the incident."
