NEWS OVERNIGHT

Warning signs for schools 

Schools containing asbestos will be required to place warning signs at their front gate after the Education Department was taken to court. 

WorkSafe documents show that legal action was recently taken against the department for putting several schools at risk.

Under a binding agreement with the WorkSafe, schools with asbestos will now be required to put up warning signs on gates and buildings. 

Melbourne Heart lose in derby 

Melbourne Heart suffered a 3-1 loss to Melbourne Victory overnight. 

The win puts Victory into third spot. 

The news isn't so good for the Heart with calls coming in thick and fast to replace head coach John Aloisi him.
