A keen competitor on track and field with South Bendigo Athletics Club, Wolf plays a crucial role as AB's equipment manager.
He is one of the first to arrive at the La Trobe University Bendigo athletics complex and often the last to leave.
Wolf says it takes a lot of teamwork from many of AB's volunteers at the track or cross-country runs.
"There are many links in the organisational chain.
"A lot of people give their time."
Athletics plays a big part in the Heiden family of Wolf, Michelle, and their children Dane and Bree.
Wolf is also busy training in the lead-up to next month's Oceania Masters which will be run at LUBAC - a venue he knows so well.
