The Rushworth Easter Heritage Festival and the Woodend Children's Festival each received funding from the $75,000 state government investment pool.
Tourism and Major Events Minister Louise Asher said the Country Victoria Events Program targeted regional events.
Ms Asher hoped the funding would grow the number of visitors to regional towns across Victoria.
She said funding was an important part of the state government's ongoing commitment to supporting Victoria's growing regional tourism industry.
“Tourism plays a significant role in the economic development of regional Victoria," Ms Asher said.
"It is worth $10.9 billion to regional Victoria and employs almost 110,000 people."
