The Wedderburn Hockey Club received a Victalent grants totaling a $1000.
The Charlton Golf Club received a $1000 grant and the Birchip Watchem Hockey Club was also boosted by a $500 grant.
Member for Swan Hill Peter Walsh said the Victalent grant program was a great way for regional sporting clubs and associations to support their athletes, coaches and administrators.
“Each day thousands of Victorians go above and beyond to support their local sports and the Victalent grants are a great assistance in meeting travel costs which can often be potential barriers to training, competition and allowing participants to realise their sporting dreams," he said.
Mr Walsh said sport and recreation was the heart of regional communities.
He said the grants offered more opportunities for people to come together and share their passions.
The Swan Hill Basketball Association was also awarded a $1050 grant.
