The school hosted their awards ceremony, celebrating the student’s excellence both in school classes and in the community.
More than 300 students received awards on the night.
Eight students were also recognised for achieving an A or A+ for every learning task set out in semester two.
Student Council president Breanna Tivendale was named the 2013 Student of the Year for her "outstanding academic and community achievements."
Budding golf star Lucas Herbert was honoured with the Sports Star of the Year award.
Principal Dale Pearce said the award ceremony was a chance to honour students and staff who had a strong commitment to achieving their personal best.
“It is about recognising and highlighting people within our college community who go that extra mile in terms of effort, dedication, motivation and helping others,” he said.
Student manager Kylie Hand, sociology teacher Steve O’Bree and VCAL and NETschool assistant Judy Stewart received staff awards.
