Bendigo had five talented junior golfers qualify to play in the highly-regarded Golf Victoria event at Kooringal Golf Club.
The championships consist of three rounds - a local nine-hole qualification event and a nine-hole regional final at the Heathcote Golf club last month before last week's 18-hole state final.
The five Bendigo players each shot impressive scores in the state final after five tiring hours in hot and windy conditions.
In the boys' division, Jarrod Berry of St Liborius Primary School continued his recent fine form on the course with a superb one over par round of 73 to finish in equal ninth position.
Specimen Hill Primary School's Tom Roberts also returned a superb round of 93.
In the girls' division, another Specimen Hill student, Jazy Roberts, shot an excellent score of 92 to finish in seventh place,
Spring Gully Primary School student Sienna Day carded a brilliant round of 103 and Jemma Holmberg, from Eaglehawk North Primary School, also had a great round to finish the day on 120.
