The team includes Strathdale Maristians young gun Tayla Vlaeminck, who is just back from representing Victoria at the national under-15 carnival, and talented Katandra spinner Hope Irvine, who is a premier firsts division player for Plenty Valley and has also been in state teams.
They will be joined by Bendigo girls Bree Gaylor, Ash Mitchell, Jess Hercott and Laura McGlashan.
Northern Rivers will be coached by Jake DeAraugo and Lisa Cain. They travel to Melbourne on Monday, with matches scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday.
The squad is: Hope Irvine (Katandra), Alex Mulcahy (Cooma), Tayla Vlaeminck (Strathdale Maristians), Parry and Breese Jenkins (Tatura), Ash Cusack and Alysia Oaks (Nathalia), Bree Gaylor and Ash Mitchell (Kangaroo Flat), Georgia Morgan (Colbinabbin), Tegan Sutton, Jess Hercott and Laura McGlashan (all secondary school cricket).
