The pair have been preselected unopposed and said they were honoured to have the opportunity to continue to serve the central Victorian community.
Ms Allan said she planned to continue to ensure the new Bendigo hospital project was delivered on time while Ms Edwards said she was passionate about protecting vulnerable people in the community.
"I'm very pleased the Labor party has moved quickly and that Maree and I have been endorsed unopposed to continue the work of standing up for Bendigo and central Victoria in the Parliament," Ms Allan said.
"I'm going to continue to ensure the Bendigo hospital project is delivered on time and is what was promised to the Bendigo community.
"I fought very, very hard to get this project off the ground ... and I will continue to keep up a very strong focus on that project."
Ms Edwards said there was still a lot of work to be done in the region.
"Particularly as we're seeing job losses across Bendigo - cuts to services that are impacting on the most vulnerable and most disadvantaged in our community," she said.
"I'm very passionate about making sure this government is held to account for every single cut that they make to a service that impacts on people who can least afford to bear the brunt of those cuts."
Ms Edwards said central Victoria deserved strong representation.
"At a time of job losses, government cut backs to Bendigo TAFE and pressure on our ambulance system, the region needs MPs to stand up and fight against these cuts as I have been doing for the past three years," she said.
“I am passionate about our region and determined it is strongly represented in Parliament. I am honoured to have once again been given that opportunity."
