"(The students) love the dancing," she said.
"They love the (a3 Australian Arts Alive teachers) who are really enthusiastic and have developed a great repertoire with the students."
Ms McCarthy said the festival gave students the chance to experience the arts.

"For those who have a particular interest in singing and dancing it gives them an avenue to express themselves.
"It is a great program."
St Francis of the Fields year 5 student George Simpson said the Festival of the Sacred offered something different.
"I am not part of the choir (at school) so singing (in the choir) is not normal for me," he said.
"It was a chance to try something new.
"I enjoyed (rehearsing in the lead up to the festival)."
George said he wasn't nervous about performing in front of an audience.
"Maybe if I was doing it by myself I would be, but I was in a group," he said
The Festival of the Sacred has been running for five years and events are also hosted in Shepparton and Wodonga.
