Lachie Johnson, Olivia Graham, Chris Browne and Emily Lawson have made the Victorian team for the All Schools Australian Athletics Championships in Townsville.
Graham, who is coached by the highly-regarded Frank Barr, will compete in the under-14s hammer throw.
The Eaglehawk Secondary College thrower won a silver medal in the hammer at last month's Victorian All Schools championships - her first major state competition in the event.
Johnson, a fine all-round sportsman, will line-up for the 90m hurdles and 4x100m relay squad in Townsville. The Terry Hicks-coached jet also claimed silver at the Victorian All Schools titles in the under-14s hurdles in November.
Johnson, from the Eaglehawk YMCA Athletic Club, holds several schools and little athletics regional records and recently stepped into the ring for a state boxing title bout.
Browne, 15, will carry high hopes of securing national titles medals.
The Harriers' young gun will compete in the under-16s hammer, shotput and discus.
Browne won the discus state All Schools title, and also took home silver in the hammer and shotput last month.
South Bendigo's Emily Lawson will take her marks for the under-18s 200m and 400m races in Townsville.
