Bendigo store manager Cameron Hyatt said the event raised money for animal shelter Furever Friends.
"It was a really good day," he said.
Santa Paws ran from 10am til 2pm.
Mr Hyatt said he was pleased with the amount of money raised.
"Our customers loved it," he said.
"The most popular animal was a definitely a kelpie.
People gave a gold coin donation.
Mr Hyatt said all money raised went to Furever Friends.
"We like Furever Friends because they do not euthanise any animals when the pets aren't adopted," he said.
It was the first time Pet Stock had run Santa Paws.
"It was so successful we are looking to do an event at Easter," he said.
Pet Stock Bendigo will also run a pie drive on Saturday December 14.
Mr Hyatt said pies would be donated from Gaffney's Bakery in Heathcote.
"The event will also be a pet adoption day," he said.
