In its 132nd year, the Heathcote Agricultural Show attracts visitors from across central Victoria.
Organisers say Tuesday’s event could not have been more perfect.
Show secretary Gary Nettle said it was magnificent day.
“The weather was great,” he said.
Mr Nettle said what kept people flocking through the gates each year was the show’s diversity.
“It is one of Heathcote’s biggest events of the year,” he said.
“We have a lot of different attractions.
“We try and cater to everyone from little kids to adults.
“We have a bit of everything.”
For Ruby Mitchell, Latisha Creevey, Seth and James Creevey, Thomas and Annabel Johnson and Akira Doley the show bags and games proved popular.
Mr Nettle said some of show's highlights included the horse dressage and the yard dog judging.
“This year the sideshows have also been good, we had bungee jumping, a jumping castle and the cha cha for the kids,” he said.
Mr Nettle said the annual show has been held on Melbourne Cup day ever since he has been involved.
