Razzle was lapping up the attention as Ms Archer pushed him around in a pram.
"Pug's overheat so it gives him a bit of shade and he doesn't have to walk all the time," Ms Archer said.
"This is his first day in the pram but he seems to be liking it.
"He's a very good boy."
Ms Archer lives in Mooney Ponds but adopted the apricot pug from Bendigo Animal Welfare and Community services.
"I drove to Bendigo to get him," she said.
"So today he's here visiting his home town."
The pair were in Bendigo for Vegecarian Festival at the Great Stupa on Saturday.
The new festival promotes the idea of caring for your health and caring for animals by becoming a "Vegecarian".
The festival will included: vegetarian cooking demonstrations by Alice Zaslavsky from 2012 MasterChef; Australia’s best vegie-burger competition; and other workshops.
