EVEN if Olivia Rogowska loses her singles quarter-final to Casey Dellacqua on Saturday, she will still walk away from the Bendigo International a winner.
The Melbourne ace teamed with close friend Monique Adamczak, who she beat in a singles quarter-final earlier in the day, to clinch the William Loud Bendigo International doubles title on Friday.
The match was worthy of a final, with the second seeds having to win a dramatic super tiebreaker to get their hands on the trophy.
Rogowska and Adamczak took out the all-Australian final 6-3 2-6 11-9 over Sally Peers and Stephanie Bengson.
The victory made up for last week's disappointment when Rogowska and Adamczak went down in the final of the first Pro Tour tournament against Japanese sisters Yurika and Erika Sema.
Friday's final was a closely-fought affair.
Rogowska and Adamczak only won five more points for the game and both teams broke their opponents' serve five times.
Attention now turns to the singles semi-finals on Saturday and the final on Sunday at the Nolan Street courts.
