MORE than $90,000 in unpaid fines was detected in Bendigo on Thursday during a a traffic operation.
The Sherriff's Office and Bendigo Highway Patrol members joined forces to operate two automatic number plate recognition sites.
The sites were located on Napier Street in White Hills and Inglis Street in Golden Square and operated between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
The Napier Street, White Hills site detected: three unlicensed drivers; three suspended drivers; four unregistered cars; one breach interlock condition; one mobile phone; and one unregistered trailer.
The Inglis Street, Golden Square site detected: three unregistered cars; two unlicensed drivers; one suspended driver (impounded); and one exceed speed.
