BENDIGO'S Terry Atkinson and Matt Fitt had mixed success representing Australia at the Masters World Series Indoor cricket tournament in South Africa.
Atkinson was part of the Australian team that won the over-45 division after defeating New Zealand by 15 runs, 76-61, in the grand final on Saturday.
Atkinson - in his second Masters World Series - played in five games at the tournament, scoring 51 runs and taking 10 wickets.
Fitt's over-30 men's team lost the grand final to New Zealand in a thriller by four runs, 93-89.
Fitt was Australia's 30-over leading run-scorer for the tournament with 201 at a strike-rate of 137.6, while he also took 17 wickets.
