COLBINABBIN will be aiming to continue its positive start to the Northern United Cricket Association season on Saturday when it hosts Bagshot in round three.
Colbo has won its opening two games against Goornong and Elmore to be sitting second on the ladder.
Hadleigh Sirett has started the season well with the ball for Colbo, taking five wickets, while Steven Morgan (90 runs) and Phil Morgan (70) have led the way with the bat.
Bagshot, which is third on the ladder, will be on the rebound from a 43-run loss to Goornong last round.
* Calivil is at home to reigning premier Heathcote in what shapes as another competitive game.
Calivil - which is the last team to defeat Heathcote - last week posted its first win of the season thanks to 98 from opener Jarrod Smith against Raywood.
Despite having six players dismissed for two or less, Heathcote last week defeated Dingee on the back of a century from Luke Bell, who scored 102 of its 172 runs.
* Raywood will travel to Dingee striving to register its first win of the season after losing its first two matches to Bagshot and Calivil.
Braden Latter (66) and Matt Gould (47) were in good form with the bat last week for Raywood, while Dingee had Daniel Whitfield (5-36) dominate with the ball in a 17-run loss to Heathcote.
* Goornong won't be taking Elmore lightly at home after losing to the perennial strugglers by 125 runs in their last meeting in round 17 last season.
