ORGANISERS of the Bendigo Health Fun Run are thrilled to see a record number of entries for this year's event.
There has been more than 2300 registrations a week out from the run - already beating the total number of participants last year.
"We're up by about 300 people compared to this time last year," organiser Kiri Earl said.
"We're just so excited to see so many people take an interest."
She said organisers were proud the community.
It just shows everyone is really making an effort to get out there.
"It just shows more people are getting active and everyone is really making an effort to make changes to routines and get out there," Ms Earl said.
"It's such a community event and we're expecting to see even more registrations as time goes on and on the day too."
The race will be held on Sunday, November 3, from 8am.
Ms Earl said the event catered for everyone, from families to the most serious of athletes.
There is a five-kilometre,10-kilometre and 15-kilometre course.
