Most of the shows at Bendigo’s Capital Theatre are sold out over the next two weeks.
Capital Theatre manager David Lloyd said the city’s arts culture was well and truly alive.
On Saturday night David Helfgott will take to the stage, while comedian Arj Barker, the Voice Australia winner Harrison Craig and Australian music legend Marina Prior are all performing soon.
The Bendigo Art Gallery’s exhibition Modern Love also opens on Saturday night.
The exhibition features pieces from some of the world’s most famous designers.
The Bendigo Bank is also hosting their Annual General Meeting at the Capital next week.
Mr Lloyd said there was a huge few weeks ahead for the Capital.
“It is a real mix bag, we have the Bendigo Bank and then we have everything from popular music to comedy,” he said.
Mr Lloyd said the Capital Theatre had become a cultural hub for central Victoria.
“We service up and down the Calder Highway all the way to the river,” he said.
“The Capital is a great hub for this region as well as the Bendigo community.”
Mr Lloyd said there were only limited tickets left for some of the Capital’s shows.
