KANGAROO Flat will host Eaglehawk in a Bendigo Bowls Division top-of-the-ladder clash on Saturday.
The Flat has been the early-season pacesetter as the only team to win all three games, including an eight-shot victory over Golden Square last week.
However, their credentials as the real deal face another big test against the Hawks, who they haven't beaten in their past seven meetings.
Eaglehawk will be determined to bounce back to its form of the first two rounds after it last week tied 89-89 with South Bendigo.
This contest features the rinks of skippers John Carter and Ross Trevethan (Kangaroo Flat) and Terry Gilmore and Simon Carter (Eaglehawk), which are all yet to be beaten.
* Inglewood and Bendigo East will both chase their second wins of the season when they face off.
East kickstarted its season with a 26-shot win over Castlemaine last week, while Inglewood hasn't won a rink in its past two defeats to Bendigo and Kangaroo Flat.
* After tieing with Eaglehawk last week, South Bendigo should be confident it can push reigning premier Bendigo.
South Bendigo is yet to win a game, but is unlucky not to have two victories after its draw with the Hawks came on the back of a four-shot loss to Castlemaine the previous week.
* Golden Square will start warm favourites to win its second game when it travels to Castlemaine.
