MORE than 20 artists from around the state have displayed their works at Bendigo’s Dudley House.
Scope’s Kaleidoscope Exhibition officially opened on Thursday with artists displaying their unique pieces.
The exhibition, an initiative of Scope, sees people who live with a disability have the opportunity to participate in the arts arena.
Scope’s Customer and Service Delivery manager Mary Sullivan said it was also a chance for artists across Victoria to experience a sense of achievement.
She said the exhibition is usually housed at different galleries across the state but said organisers thought Bendigo was the perfect location to host the event this year.
Ms Sullivan said art was a great way for people with a disability to express themselves.
“It is a great way to show off their talents,” she said.
Ms Sullivan is encouraging members of the community to visit the exhibition.
The exhibition is running until Tuesday.
Opening hours are between 8.30am to 3.30pm on weekdays and 10am to 4pm on weekends.
Entry is free.
