Bendigo police have arrested and charged two youths after an armed robbery on the Healthworks pharmacy in Kangaroo Flat.
Police at the scene confirmed two men entered and held up the pharmacy just after 1pm.
A short police search ended in Walsh Court, Kangaroo Flat.
Three police cars and 10 officers descended on the court.
No one was injured during the incident but patients waiting to see doctors at the medical clinic in the same building as the pharmacy had to wait outside for police to clear the scene.
Bendigo detective Michael Thompson said last night two youths, one aged 16 and one aged 17, had been charged with armed robbery and bailed to appear in court at a later date.
He said one of the youths had been holding a knife in the hold-up and some prescription drugs had been stolen. The knife had not been recovered.
Mr Thompson said it was possible that two backpacks had been dumped in the area and if anyone found them they should call him on 5448 1385.
