TWO Bendigo County Fire Authority senior officers will be deployed to New South Wales on Tuesday as out of control fires continue to devastate the state.
Senior station officer Darren Eenjes and station officer Hugh Kelly will travel to our neighbouring state and offer relief support for Rural Fire Service members.
Bendigo CFA Operations manager Craig Brittain said Darren Eenjes would be in charge of all of the strike teams across the state.
He said the duo would return on Saturday.
More than 50 fires continue to burn across the state and at least 200 homes destroyed.
The pair joins about 60 volunteers from across central Victoria who travelled to New South Wales last week.
