BENDIGO tennis is about to be blitzed.
The Australian Open Blitz, a nation-wide competition for all ages and tennis abilities, rolls into town on Tuesday.
With it will come the Australian Open trophies, which will be available for people to have photos with at the Bendigo Tennis Association's Nolan Street courts from 4-7pm.
The AO Blitz is a challenge that allows anyone the chance to win prizes and have an Australian Open player represent their town or community.
The AO Blitz is open to individuals, schools and tennis clubs, who can earn points by completing challenges.
The more points earned, the greater the chances of scoring some of the major prizes up for grabs - including a party for the winning towns and tickets to the Australian Open finals.
The blitz will visit St Therese's and Kennington primary schools on Tuesday and includes free hot shots and cardio clinics, prizes and giveaways.
