BLACK Swan owner Andreas Bazzani says the revamped night club will cater to the changing tastes of the city's music scene.
The Pall Mall business will reopen Saturday night after a major renovation.
Mr Bazzani said the upgrades took years of planning and about three weeks of construction work totalling more than $200,000.
"It's a substantial investment in our business," he said.
"It's an investment in the future of Bendigo.
''We hope to expand our number of staff."
Mr Bazzani said the relocated stage would allow for bigger live music acts.
It comes just weeks after the club unveiled a $150,000 refurbishment of the second story of the Black Swan, renamed The Perch.
"We're trying to respond to the growing music scene," he said.
"We've seen great signs with the Blues and Roots festivals and other events in Bendigo."
"We've taken Black Swan into the modern era."
Shaolin Funk and Jack Kennedy will both perform Saturday from 9pm.
