THE lure of a massive payday will be on every golfer's mind when the Perth International tees-off on Thursday morning.
Central Victorian professionals Andrew Martin and Kris Mueck are among the 144 hopefuls in the field for the PGA Tour of Australasia's richest event.
The US$2 million Perth International is co-sanctioned with the European Tour and has drawn some big names to Lake Karrinyup Country Club.
Defending champion Bo Van Pelt and world number 23 Dustin Johnson headline a high-calibre field.
Mueck, who soared to his highest career finish when runner-up at the WA Open on Sunday, tees-off among the earlier starters at 8.10am before Martin gets underway at 12pm.
