BREWHOUSE Coffee Roasters has been recognised with an award.
The company won the International Customer Service Professionals My Customer Rules Business Award.
Owner Corey Scoble said six staff had attended a ceremony in Melbourne and had been “over the moon”.
“We didn’t realise the awards were as big as they were,” he said.
“There were companies like Myer, Telstra, CGU and Virgin Airlines.
“I think we were the only small business nominated.
“So to win the award was fantastic.”
Mr Scoble said the business had been recognised for its focus on customer service and had been given national exposure.
“The chief customer service manager at Qantas congratulated us and wanted to know a little bit more about Bendigo,” he said.
“We had someone from Myer who was originally a Bendigo boy who was happy to see us there which was great.
“We were the only regional company nominated.”
Mr Scoble has expansion plans for the business and wants to add about 15 staff in the next year.
