The ladder-leading Spring Gully Bigpond has the bye, so a new leader will emerge.
Spring Gully Brougham Arms, the flag favourites, take on BLTC Metro.
In what looms as an enticing match-up, Brougham Arms captain Jamie Brown and Matt Hartland will square off against father-son duo Andrew and Zac Lethlean.
Although it may struggle at the top of the order against the star power of Brown and Hartland, Metro has a wealth of depth in the lower order.
Grant Leader, Isaac Watson, Sam McHarg or Ryan Leader are a chance to line up for Metro.,
One of the big questions is who Brown will select for the two women’s spots.
Jess Hartland, Danielle Bowles, Bronwyn Osborne and Lynda Gallagher are in the Brougham Arms squad.
Whoever he chooses will have no easy task against Tamara Wright and Rashelle Blencowe.
The Broughie and Metro will play on courts one, six and seven.
Prediction: Brougham Arms to scrape home by 7 sets to 5.
In other Premier League action, BLTC Rising Sun takes on BLTC Noonan Electrical.
Both teams were beaten last week, but were not disgraced.
It is again looking like a tough week for Noonan Electrical, with experienced Rising Sun performers such as Rebecca Tweed and Michael Smyth to pose a challenge in matches on courts two, eight and nine.
