THIEVES have stolen a unique concrete statue from an Epsom property.
The property owner, who asked to remain anonymous, reported the theft of the concrete statue of a little girl sitting cross-legged to Bendigo police this week.
Two people would have been needed to carry the concrete statue given its weight.
''I was saddened to find that my statue of a young girl has been stolen,'' the property owner said.
''I would just love to know if the person responsible for one second might have considered that she was there for a reason, that she might have been more than a very heavy piece of concrete.
''I would like them to know that every time I look at her I was remembering someone very dear to me.
''If anyone has seen a cross-legged girl with hands in her lap please know that she has been stolen and that I would love her back.''
Anyone with information on the stolen statue should contact Bendigo Police on 5448 1300.
