Tradie's fridges stolen
BENDIGO police have urged people to report any suspicious activity after a recent spate of thefts from tradesman's utes, particularly in the Maiden Gully area.
Inspector Brad Dixon said of particular attraction to thieves are the 'Engel' type car fridges, which are sometimes chained to the back of utes.
Inspector Dixon said chains are being cut and fridges stolen.
"Please take care to secure your hard earned belongings, and report any suspicious activity," he said.

VICTORIAN motorists could be hit by fuel shortages after a trucking firm involved in tanker explosion last week has been grounded.
Cootes Transport has been ordered to ground the 36-tanker fleet after a tanker explosion killed two people in NSW last week.
The Age reports it is believed the grounding of a significant proportion of the company's fleet could result in fuel shortages.

JOKE OF THE DAY
This is from Addy reader, Issil.
A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one
carton of milk and if they have avocados, get six.
A short time later, the husband comes back with six cartons of milk.
The wife asks him, "Why did you buy six cartons of milk?"
He replied, "They had avocados."
Thanks for that!
