THOUSANDS of people descended on Heathcote for a food and wine show at the weekend.
Food and wine lovers from around the state flocked to Heathcote for the annual two-day festival.
The sun was shining on the town, with more than 45 local winegrowers exhibiting their wines.
Some wine enthusiasts took in a master class with popular wine commentator Nick Stock.
Mr Stock shared his knowledge, with participants sipping on various red wines.
Other people laid on the grass, taking in the smooth sounds of the band.
Melbourne man Zoran Tasevski went to the festival with his family.
He said it was the third year in a row his family and friends had travelled up the highway to Heathcote.
“Happy wife, happy kids and you get to drink some wine and eat some good food,” Mr Tasevski said.
“It is a guaranteed good weekend.”
