AN annual golf day is set to raise money for children’s cancer charity, Camp Quality, on Friday.
Community members have been invited to attend the golf day at Neangar Park Golf Club to help raise money to support children living with cancer.
“We know this year’s event will be even bigger and we’re looking forward to raising even more funds to support the needs of local families,” Camp Quality Victoria fundraising manager Emily Werner said.
More than $140,000 had been raised from the annual charity golfing day to date.
Last year the money raised went towards paying the costs of a camp for local kids and their families in Bendigo.
Organisers hope to raise $20,000 this year, which is enough to provide five local families with the support they need during their first 12 months while their newly diagnosed child is on active treatment.
